Equine Crime Fighters
Dear Readers,
WILD HONEY just came out today and I'm already hearing from people who are curious about police horses and their training. I was very fortunate to have research help from the Reno Mounted Police Unit and officer Jim Overton.
Watching the equine officers learn to stay cool during the discharge of blank guns and while pretend bad guys grab for a mounted officers' weapon, plus navigating strange obstacles, smoke, balloons and much more, was fascinating!
