Writing, Reading & Cooking Up Fun

Dear Readers,
I hope you're all cozied down if you live where it's cold & keeping cool if you live where it's hot!
Wow, I just heard from a reader who looked up recipes for all the delicious made-by-Gram treats from the PHANTOM STALLION books and now she's starting on the scones and other tea time treats from SEVEN TEARS INTO THE SEA. If any of you want the recipes i had in mind when I wrote the scenes featuring them, please let me know. They're all real.
Since any time is good writing time, I want to remind you of one of the best places to find trustworthy contests for writers under 21!

go to : http://www.fundsforwriters.com/
Then skim down the navigation bar on the left til you reach Writing Kid and click on it!
There's a variety of interesting contests, such as

1. What is LASIK Eye Surgery?
2. Describe the Pro’s and Con’s of LASIK Eye Surgery?
3. Given the different options available, would you choose LASIK Eye Surgery over the other available options.

Many more...these are just samples and my fingers are getting too cold to type in this little unheated corner of my house. Earlier today it was six degrees. I told Zito it was too cold for puppy paws to go out for a walk on the snow, but she didn't believe me!

Best to you all,
Terri
