Books (and Zito says HI!)

Greetings Dear Readers,
Let's try something a little different.
If you've received any books for gifts in the last week or two :) please tell the rest of us what they are, k? And tell us how you feel about receiving them -- excited, unsure, dumbfounded -- that sort of thing. I love sharing your love of books, and this is one way I can do it!
Have a wonderful day,
Terri

Comments: I got Phantom Stallion #17 for christmas!!!!! hee hee. Also Saddle Club #1, it's not the best but it came with a beautiful model horse which I love!!!!!!!!! Also I got, "The Personality of the Horse" edited by Brandt Aymar and Edward Sagarin. It is short stories, essays and poems about horses! I actually think you would like it mrs. farley. There are some about wild horses! It is a really interesting book.
also, is Zito your dog? He is sooo pretty and cute.
  HI
Zito (rhymes with Cheeto) is our dog. She belonged to my daughter's (old) boyfriend and he couldn't keep her after he moved back to Nevada from Missippi, where she was born, so somehow she became ours!
She's half yellow Lab and half Brittany Spaniel and LOVES all guys of college age. My son is her hero.
Thanks Terri! I've been wanting to talk about books I've read and listen to other PS readers choices but I figured it would be too off topic. (I even tried once). I think its a very good idea!
Anyway, to begin with I have a ton of good books I've read lately but none have surpassed in greatness my two (actually 3) favourite series. Two of them are obviously PS and WHI and then there is this great series salled Mustang Mountain Ranch. It's by this great canadian author named Sharon Siamon. I absolutely loved her books! and read the mustang mountain series over about 6 times each book. So far it has only 10 books (as far as I can find). I know that the series can't stop there because I can tell that book 10 just can't be the last book. That's 'cause some of the long term problems haven't been solved yet. But sadly no matter how much I look I can't find a book 11,(I've been looking for about a year and a half) :( . I think this comment is getting too long so I'll just end it for now but I'll write more about the MMR series in my next comment.
Bye for now!:)
Merry Christmas Terri! I got a pony for christmas this year. Really! She's an older appaloosa, you probably saw her on my blog site!
Hope your holidays are happy and warm(er).
Cute doggie too!
Zito is so cute! And I didn't get anything like a pony. But I did get Wild Horse Island books. 5 of them becuase I just recently started reading that series so I'm still building up. Ive already read one and im on the next one. Happy Holidays! And Merry Christmas!
I have just started reading a book called Bridge Called Hope by Kim Meeder. It's pretty cool. All the stories are real!! They Live in Oregon on a ranch where they take in neglected horese and match them up with kids who have been in trouble with the law. I think her first book is called Hope Rising. I haven't read it yet.
